These people have two responsibilities. Firstly, they can issue you with a deed poll to enable you to change your name, and secondly, you will have to write them a letter enquiring about their policies (even though you know them already) before jumping up and down to the relevent ministers, in order to get leglislation made to enable change of sex on your birth certificate.

Australian TransGenderist Support Association Inc
ATSAQ was established to support those affected by Gender Dysphoria which includes transgendered people, their parents, partners, ex-partners, siblings, loved ones, and friends.

They provide moral support and counselling, referral services, a 24 hour helpline for those in crisis, and guidance and support in areas of social security, CES, department of motor transport, medicare, etc.

The ATSAQ strives to improve human rights and legal rights for Transgenders in Queensland by making submissions and recommendations to commissions framing 'human rights' legislation, attorney generals office, and the anti discrimination commission.

ATSAQ is a non-profit organisation which exists without any government financial support. It survives purely by member subscriptions and donations.
